Preschool Prep

The curriculum becomes a little more advanced in this classroom now that the children are older and have more skills, a longer attention span, and more advanced language development. The teachers choose a “helper of the day” to aid them in jobs around the classroom such as setting the lunches on the table, turning off the lights when needed, and being a line leader. This helps the children build confidence and feel a sense of responsibility. They also take some time to focus on a specific color, shape, and letter to familiarize the children with these learning concepts in order to build a foundation in recognizing them in Preschool and Pre-K.
